When employees hit a snag utilizing their insurance, two things happen: 1) they lose confidence in their benefits and, by association, their employer and 2) they take steps to fix the problem, which involves calling carriers when they are available and often while the employee is at work. This drains productivity and is burdensome for all. Our account managers resolve all benefit issues by encouraging employees to call ASG directly. Most issues are administrative and handled swiftly through our Client Services Managers. When issues need to be addressed with the carriers, then ASG will make that call on the employees’ behalf. Resolutions are reported back to the employee. Whether it is billing, referrals, general questions, COBRA issues, we want employees to use ASG as its sole resource.
